What is Frozen Custard?

Frozen custard, like ice cream, is a tasty treat made with sugar and dairy. What makes frozen custard special is the addition of egg yolks to give a rich and creamy consistency.

We make frozen custard the old fashioned way – no stabilizers or preservatives, all natural ingredients, and we source our dairy, sugar, eggs, honey, and other product locally from Michigan, ensuring that what we do supports the community around us.

There is a lot of ice cream out there – especially if you are looking for classic flavors. But even then, you’ll have a hard time finding options that don’t have ingredients that you can't pronounce. Our foundation is simple: cream, milk, egg yolk, sugar, and honey – all coming from our state of Michigan. From there, we have fun with flavors you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else like Burnt Honey, Bourbon Dream, and our dairy free Strawberry Ginger Sorbet that accompany rotating seasonal flavors showcasing local product. Things like Hittin' the Nog! at Christmas time, Cherry Vanilla Fest and Blueberry Basil in the summer, and Pumpkin Spice Latte in the fall keeps things fun and interesting, making sure your ice cream cravings never have a dull moment.
